The centerpiece is the legendary Dead Man’s Hand: ... Water Bottle Design
The centerpiece is the legendary Dead Man’s Hand: Aces and Eights. The Cards: Five authentic, aged playing cards are meticulously fanned out, as if held by a poker player. The foreground features the two black Aces (Ace of Spades and Ace of Clubs) and the two black Eights (Eight of Spades and Eight of Clubs). They are detailed with classic, sharp pips and ornate corner indices. The fifth card, partially obscured, is the “kicker,” the Queen of Diamonds, featuring the classic crowned figure. The cards appear slightly worn, as if shuffled by many hands. The Crossed Bowie Knives: Behind the fanned hand of cards, two menacing Bowie Knives cross to form an 'X.' The blades are broad, double-edged, and show etched scrollwork and blood grooves. The handles are detailed with textured scales and heavy brass guards and pommels. The Title Banner: Arcing over the entire design is a distressed, Western-style scroll banner with the text: “DEAD MAN’S HAND.” The letters are blocky, aged, and slightly cracked, mimicking worn leather or wood. The Card Suits: Flanking the design on either side, running vertically, are clusters of small, interwoven playing card suit motifs. Interlocking Spade, Club, Heart, and Diamond symbols create an ornate, filigreed pattern that frames the main artwork.
