This bottle is sculpted from deep, obsidian-black glass. It does not use numbers; instead, the entire countdown is illustrated through the accurate phases of the moon carved in silver inlay. The base of the bottle shows the full moon. As you move up the neck, the silver graphics transition through the quarter and crescent phases until reaching the absolute midnight position at the cap, which shows the dark "New Moon" silhouette. Surrounding the phases is a complex web of silver constellations and fine celestial coordinate lines, resembling an antique astrolabe. The cap is a faceted obsidian sphere that must be rotated past the "New Moon" mark to open.
